01 / Context
What the product is.
Streaming experience redesign for modern mobile users.
A streaming experience redesigned to prioritise effortless content discovery:
- Personalized home recommendations
- Simplified navigation structure
- Faster browse and search flow
- Clean, distraction-free media player
02 / Challenge
The friction inside the system.
Users struggled to discover content quickly. The previous interface had cluttered navigation, unclear categories and low engagement with recommended shows.
03 / My role
Contribution and scope.
Led the end-to-end product design process, including research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping and final UI design. Worked with product managers and developers to improve content discovery and engagement.
04 / Key decisions
How complexity became structure.
- 01
Research
- Reviewed competitor apps
- Analyzed user behaviour
- Identified friction in content discovery
- 02
Information architecture
- Simplified navigation
- Introduced clear content categories
- Improved search and recommendation logic
- 03
UI design & testing
- Created low-fidelity wireframes
- Built interactive prototypes
- Iterated based on feedback
05 / Experience
The final interface will live here.
Real project screens are being restored from the original files. Until they are available, the case study stays focused on verified decisions rather than showing broken or fabricated visuals.
06 / Reflection
What I learned.
Simplifying navigation and focusing on content hierarchy improved engagement more than adding new features.
