01 / Context

What the product is.

Simplified installment purchasing experience.

A simplified installment purchasing experience built around clarity and trust:

  • Transparent installment breakdown
  • Step-based checkout flow
  • Clear approval status feedback
  • Reduced cognitive load during financial decisions

02 / Challenge

The friction inside the system.

Users struggled to understand installment terms, compare offers, and complete purchases confidently. The existing experience lacked clarity, trust signals, and smooth checkout flows.

03 / My role

Contribution and scope.

Led the end-to-end product design, including research, user flows, wireframes and final interface design. Worked with stakeholders to simplify complex installment logic into clear, user-friendly steps.

04 / Key decisions

How complexity became structure.

  1. 01

    Research

    • Reviewed user feedback and competitor apps
    • Identified confusion around payment terms and approval steps
  2. 02

    Information architecture

    • Simplified product browsing
    • Structured checkout into a clear step-by-step flow
    • Added transparent installment breakdowns
  3. 03

    UI design & testing

    • Built wireframes for key flows
    • Designed the final UI system
    • Iterated based on internal feedback

05 / Experience

The final interface will live here.

Real project screens are being restored from the original files. Until they are available, the case study stays focused on verified decisions rather than showing broken or fabricated visuals.

06 / Reflection

What I learned.

Transparency and simple step-based flows increase trust in financial transactions.
